Philanthropy
Ms. Franco believes in humanitarian efforts and giving back to the community. She has participated in several Medical Missions in the Philippines, sat on the Host Committee for SOMArts, obtained permanent resident status for an unaccompanied minor on a pro bono basis through the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, and is a member of the Advisory Council for ArtPoint; which supports the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (deYoung Museum and The Legion of Honor). Additionally, Ms. Franco sits on the Board of Directors for Access Institute, a San Francisco based non-profit organization that provides mental health care services to those in need, and 1% of every hour billed at Python Legal, PC is donated to Access Institute. Ms. Franco was born in the Philippines and in order for her family to leave the Philippines, her Father, a physician, promised the Philippine government that he would return to with the education he received in the United States to provide medical treatment to the indigent. Since Ms. Franco is an attorney, she took this opportunity to give back and volunteered in the pharmacy to distribute medication.
